Fennel Soup

                   Ingredients:


  1 (32 fluid ounce, container vegetable               broth

  1.4 cup butter

  5 medium fennel bulbs trimmed and                 quartered

  salt and pepper to taste






  

                  Directions:


  Step.1

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the fennel, and cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally, about 8 to 10 minutes. Add the broth, and cook until the fennel is tender, about 13 to 15 minutes.


  Step.2

And put it in a bowl of (soup), and add pepper and (salt) to taste?
