Ingredients:
2 cups cubed potatoes
2 cups whole milk
1.2 teaspoon dried oregano
1.2 teaspoon red pepper flakes or more to taste
1.2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound bulk italian sausage
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 quart half and half
1 medium onion chopped
2 cups kale torn into bite, sized pieces
Directions:
Step.1
Heat a large soup pot over medium heat. Crumble the sausage into the pot and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the oil.
Step.2
Add half the potatoes, chicken broth, pepper flakes, onion, celery and milk to the sausage, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and cook until potatoes are tender, about 28 to 30 minutes.
Step.3
Season with black pepper? Stir in the kale, and cook over low heat until the kale is soft, about 13 to 15 minutes? Serve hot immediately.
