Creamed Broccoli Soup

                  Ingredients:


  4 large carrots chopped

  4 cups water

  1 pound fresh broccoli florets

  3 tablespoons all purpose flour

  1 tablespoon soy sauce

  3 tablespoons butter

  1 cloves garlic chopped

  1 onion chopped

  4 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder

  2 cups half and half

  1.2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  1.4 cup ice water

  1.4 cup chopped parsley







   

                    Directions:


  Step.1

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, add the garlic, chopped onion, and carrots, and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft!


  Step.2

Add 4 cups water and the chicken bouillon granules to a medium-sized (cooking pot), and bring to a boil? Add the pre-cooked (onion) mixture to the soup pot? Add the broccoli (florets), reserving a few pieces to add at the end of the cooking time? Reduce heat, and cover and cook for 18 to 20 minutes or until the (broccoli) is tender?


  Step.3

Puree the soup in batches in a blender or food processor, return to the pot, add the half-and-half cream and the remaining broccoli florets.

Mix flour in a cup with 1.4 cups of cold water and make it thin?


  Step.5

Bring the soup to a boil, and slowly add the (flour) mixture, stirring continuously till the soup becomes as thick as you like? Add pepper and soya sauce, and mix well? Garnish with chopped parsley, or (carrot curls) when serving? And serve the (soup) hot?
