        Ingredients

     
       1 green onion chopped

       2.4 pounds chicken wings split and tips
              Discarded

       1 lemon sliced optional 

       2 tablespoons olive oil

       1 cup glutinous sweet rice 

       1 (2 inch piece fresh ginger peeled and               thinly sliced 

       4.5 cups chicken broth

       Salt and pepper to taste 

       1 tablespoon Fish sauce optional 

        1 onion diced 

        2 cloves garlic crushed 

        1 teaspoon fish sauce For sprinkling if 
            Desired optional


        Directions

         

        Step.1

Heat oil in a (large vessel) Add (ginger garlic) and (onion) in (hot) oil and cook till the aroma starts coming and keep stirring (occasionally) for about 5 minutes
Add chicken and (wings) Cook for 1 minute and keep stirring (add (fish sauce) Cover and cook for 2 minutes



         Step.2

Put (chicken broth) in a vessel, add (sweet rice) and boil (mixture), cover and cook for (about 10) minutes and (keep stirring it in between) so that the rice does not stick to the bottom of the vessel, enhance the taste by adding (black pepper) and (salt)



         Step.3

Pour the soup into a bowl and garnish with green onions (lemon wedges) if desired and serve with additional fish and salad.
