             Ingredients:


     2 tablespoons unsalted butter

     1.2 teaspoon minced garlic 

     salt and freshly ground black pepper to         taste

     1.2 cup heavy cream

     4 ounces farfalle pasta

     1 pinch ground nutmeg or to taste

     2 cups fresh broccoli florets

     3.4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese            see note

     Fresh parsley sprigs for garnish optional



                 Directions:


       Step.1

Boil lightly (salted) water in a (large pot) ? 
Add (farfrare pasta)? and cook, stirring occasionally? for about (10 to 12) minutes? and until it becomes soft and (firm)? and drain it in a (sieve)? Save the (pasta water) for later (use)?


      Step.2

Put (broccoli) in (microwave) safe (container) with (1.4 cups) water? and cover and cook on (high) flame till it is (bright) and (green) in colour? and (tender when cut) about 4 to 5 minutes? (drain) and add salt? Heat?


      Step.3

In a (pan) put on (low flame) (melt butter) and add (cream) in (breathing pan)? And let it boil while stirring continuously for (3 to 4) minutes?


      Step.4

Add (garlic) and (cheese)? And keep stirring continuously? And cook until (cheese) melts? 
And remove from heat? Add (nutmeg)? If sauce is too (thick) then add remaining water and pasta? Add (pepper) and (salt) (according to taste)?


       Step.5

At (serving) time, add cooked (broccoli) and cooked (pasta) and garnish with (sprigs) of fresh (parsley) as per your (choice).
