                 Ingredients:


  3.4 cup milk 

  35 buttery round crackers crushed

  4 cups sliced yellow squash

  2 large eggs beaten 

  1 teaspoon salt 

  1.4 cup water or more as needed

  1.4 cup butter melted 

  ground black pepper to taste

  1.2 cup chopped onion

  1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 

  2 tablespoons butter 




                   Directions:


  Step.1

First of all, preheat the (oven) to (400 degrees) (Fahrenheit) (200 degrees) (Celsius)


  Step.2

Place onion and squash in a large (skillet) over (medium heat) and add water? Cover and cook until (squash) is soft, about 4 to 5 minutes? Drain water well and place in a (large bowl)


  Step.3

Mix (cracker crumbs) and cheese together in a bowl ? Mix half of (cracker) mixture into cooked (squash) and onions


 Step.4

Mix (milk) and (egg) in a (small) bowl? and then add to (squash mixture)


  Step.5

Add (pepper) salt and 1.4 cups melted (butter) ? Spread in prepared (baking dish) 
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons (butter) and remaining (cracker) mixture ?


  Step.6

And bake in preheated oven until light brown, about 23 to 25 minutes.
