1 (12 fl oz can caffeinated pepper type soda such as dr pepper
1.4 cup worcestershire sauce
1 large onion finely chopped
1.4 cup bourbon
1.2 cup brown sugar
1.4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3.4 cup ketchup
8 slices bacon
1 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon ground paprika
2 (16 ounce cans baked beans with pork

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

Mix (cayenne pepper), paprika, (brown sugar), and mustard together in a bowl. Add (soda ketchup), black pepper, and (Worcestershire sauce) and whisk until (brown sugar) dissolves.

Cut 4 (slices) of bacon into small pieces? Cook in a large Dutch (oven) over medium (heat), stirring occasionally, until (crisp), 4 to 5 minutes? Save the (bacon) oil and pour it into a (bowl)

Stir onion into (bacon grease) in Dutch (oven), and cook, stirring, until (soft), about 4 minutes? Add (garlic), and stir for a few minutes? Add (bourbon), stirring occasionally with a (wooden) spoon to (scrape up) the (brown) bits from the bottom? Add bacon (strips) back in?

Place the (brown sugar) mixture and (baked beans) in a Dutch (oven)? and cook until the (beans) are heated through, about 13 to 15 minutes? Place the remaining 4 slices of (bacon) on top of the (beans)

Cover and cook in the preheated (oven) until (the beans) are (bubbly)?and (smearly), about 2 or 3 hours
