Chicken And Gnocchi Soup

                   Ingredients:


  3 stalks celery diced

  2 carrots shredded 

  4 cups chicken broth

  1 (6 ounce bag baby Spinach leaves

  2 tablespoons cold water, optional

  1 tablespoon olive oil

  3 cloves garlic minced

  1 pound cooked cubed chicken breast

  1 (16 ounce package mini potato gnicchi

  1 tablespoon cornstarch optional 

  2 cups half and half cream 

  1 small onion diced 

  salt and ground black pepper to taste








                    Directions:


  Step.1

Heat oil in a (large pot) over medium heat ? Cook onion, (celery), garlic, and carrot in hot oil until onion is translucent, about 4 to 5 minutes ? Add chopped (chicken) and (chicken broth), stir and let it boil ?


  Step.2

Add the gnocchi to the (soup), and cook until they (float), about 4 minutes? Add the (spinach), and cook until they (wil), about 3 to 4 minutes?


  Step.3

Whisk the cornstarch in the (cold water) in a measuring cup until (smooth)? Add the (cornstarch) mixture and the half-and-half mixture to the (soup)? and cook until the soup (thickens slightly), about 4 to 5 minutes? Add the (pepper) and salt
