Almost Tuscan Sausage And Kale Soup

                  Ingredients:


  2 cloves garlic crushed

  1 pinch red pepper flakes or to taste

  1 pound bulk hot italian sausage removed       from casings and crumbled

  1.4 teaspoon smoked paprika optional

  4 cups chopped kale

  1 (15 ounce, can cannellini beans drained       and rinsed

  1 tablespoon olive oil or as needed 

  1 pinch ground black pepper or to taste

  1 large onion chopped

  1.2 teaspoon chopped fresh basil
  
  6 cups low sodium chicken broth

  1 cup peeled and chopped yellow potatoes       or more to taste






  


                   Directions:


  Step.1

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat until the oil shimmers; add the garlic, onion, red pepper flakes, and pepper, cooking and stirring occasionally, until the onions are translucent, about 12 to 15 minutes.

In a bowl mix together basil, (magazine) and sausage, ?

Add the sausage mixture to the onion mixture, and cook, stirring, until the sausage is browned and thoroughly cooked, about 6 to 10 minutes.
