Cream Of Fresh Asparagus Soup

                  Ingredients:


  3 stalks celery chopped

  4 cups water

  4 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder

  1 pound fresh asparagus trimmed and             coarsely chopped

  1 tablespoon soy sauce

  1.4 cup margarine

  3 tablespoons all purpose flour

  1 onion chopped

  1 (10.5 ounce, can condensed chicken               broth

  1 potato peeled and diced

  1.4 teaspoon ground black pepper

  3.4 cup half and half

  1.4 teaspoon ground white pepper








                    Directions:


  Step.1

Melt the (margarine) in a heavy cooking pot! Add the celery and (onion), and sauté until soft, about 3 to 4 minutes! Stir in the flour, and incorporate well! Cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly! Do not let burn or form lumps! Add the chicken broth, (water), and chicken soup base, and stir until smooth! Bring to a boil! Add the asparagus and (potatoes)! Reduce heat, and simmer for about 18 to 20 minutes!


  Step.2

Puree the soup by putting it in a food processor or blender and pour it back into the pot!


  Step.3

Add half and half soya sauce, white pepper and black pepper! And let the soup boil? Add spices to taste! And serve hot immediately!
