              Ingredients:


  Spice mix


   1.2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 

   1.4 teaspoon garlic powder

   1 teaspoon chili powder

   1.4 teaspoon onion powder

   1 teaspoon smoked paprika

   1.4 teaspoon ground cumin

   2 teaspoon kosher salt

   1.8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  Corn Ribs


   1 tablespoon vegetable oil

   4 ears fresh corn shucked

   4 tablespoons melted butter



                    Directions:


       Step.1

In a small (bowl) mix together (garlic powder), onion powder (chili powder), black pepper (cayenne pepper), cumin seeds and (smoked paprika)? Mix well and keep aside?


      Step.2

Using a (sharp knife) ? cut both (ends) of each (corn) to release the (corn) ? keep the (corn) upright and carefully cut (in half) right down the center of the (corn) ? and apply (pressure) from top to bottom by moving the (knife) ? and keep each (corn) half upright ? and cut into (fourth) using the same method ? put in a large (mixing) bowl ?


       Step.3

Sprinkle the oil over the (corn)? And (sprinkle) about (3) portions of the spice (mixture) and mix well? Make sure the spices and oil are (careful) to spread evenly over each (ribs)?


       Step.4

Now cook (ribs) on (charcoal grill) until hot and (nicely) (browned)?


        Step.5

To (finish) at home, preheat the (broiler) of the (oven) and set a rack (6 to 8 inches) from the heating element. Place (file) on a (baking) pan.


       Step.6

(Arrange) the (corn) ribs on the prepared pan so that the (most) kernels face up toward the (heat). Can (additional) (files) be placed on the pan to hold the (ribs) in the correct (position)? Once (arranged), sprinkle more (spice mixture) if you like.


      Step.7

Roast on (high heat) till (corn) is (brown in spots), about (6 to 7 minutes? (Remove) (ribs as needed) and (rearrange) again so that the sides of both sides that have not yet browned are facing the (flame)? And continue to roast till (color) of (corn) is (golden) brown with some (burnt) (spots), about (8 minutes more?


      Step.8

Take it out and brush it with (melted) (butter)? 
And season it (according to taste) with the (remaining) masala (mixture)?
