Homemade Lasagna

                   Ingredients:


  1.2 cup minced onion

  1 (8 ounce, can tomato sauce

  1 cloves garlic crushed

  1.2 teaspoon salt

  1.8 teaspoon white sugar

  1 pound small curd cottage cheese

  3 large eggs 

  1.4 teaspoon ground black pepper

  1.2 pound ground pork

  1 (28 ounce, can crushed tomatoes

  1.2 pound lean ground beef

  2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley                 divided

  1.2 teaspoons dried basil

  1.2 teaspoon dried oregano

  1 (16 ounce, package lasagna noodle

  3.4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  2 tablespoons salt

  1 (16 ounce, package shredded mozzarella       cheese








                     Directions:


  Step.1

Combine ground beef and pork in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until brown and crisp, about 6 minutes. Add onion and cook until translucent, about 4 to 5 minutes.


  Step.2

Stir in tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, crushed tomatoes, (celery) garlic, (sugar) basil, and (salt)? Reduce heat to medium-low, and cook (on low heat) for about 28 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally?


  Step.3

And while the sauce is (boiling), boil a large (pot) of lightly salted water? And cook the (lasagna noodles) in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and firm enough to hold, about 10 minutes? And drain the (water) and keep it aside?


  Step.4

And while (the noodles) are cooking, preheat (the oven) to (375 degrees) F (190 degrees) C?


 Step.5

Combine Parmesan cheese, (cheese), remaining 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, (eggs), pepper, and (salt) in a large bowl and mix well.


  Step.6

Assemble the lasagna, spreading a tablespoon or two of the sauce over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish, to coat completely. Layer two layers of noodles to cover the sauce. Layer 1.2 cheese mixture, 1.2 remaining sauce, and 1.2 mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers once more using remaining noodles, cheese mixture, sauce, and mozzarella. Cover baking dish with aluminum foil.

and bake in the preheated (oven) for 35 to 40 minutes? Remove (the foil) and bake until (the cheese) is golden brown, about 6 to 9 minutes?

Remove from oven, and (cut)! And let rest for about 8 to 10 minutes before serving?
