1 large onion diced
5 teaspoons curry powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
4 bay laurel leaves divided
4 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1.2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
3 slices white bread crusts removed
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt plus more to taste
1 tablespoon butter
1.2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1.2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 pounds ground beef
1 rounded tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar or to taste
1.3 cup india style fruit chutney or to taste
1.2 cups milk divided
1 pinch cayenne pepper

Step.1
First of all, preheat the oven to (350 degrees) F (175 degrees) C!
Step.2
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large (proof skillet) over medium heat! Add the onion and salt, and cook until (soft) and (translucent), about 4 to 5 minutes!

Add turmeric, black pepper, cumin, curry powder, and oregano and cook for about 2 minutes!

Add the ground beef, and cook, stirring, breaking the meat into small pieces. Add the tomato paste, garlic, and 1 bay leaf, and cook, stirring, for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Mix the vinegar, Worcestershire, lemon juice and peel, and sauce all together! Smooth the top, and let the mixture simmer gently for about 4 or 5 minutes!

And at the same time put the bread in a (bowl), and pour 1 to 2 cups of (milk) on it and mix it, and let it stand like that for about 4 to 5 minutes! Squeeze the (milk) back into the extra bowl, and add the soaked bread to the (meat)! And keep kneading and stirring the mixture until the (bread) is well mixed!

And put the remaining 1 cup (milk) in a bowl, add red pepper, eggs and a pinch of salt, and beat well! And pour it gently on the (meat)
And put 4 or 5 (bay leaves) on top!

And bake in the preheated oven until the top (custard) is cooked, and the inside is (light) golden brown, about 42 to 45 minutes! And test about 4 or 5 minutes before (serving)!
